MART’s Reasonable Modification Policy
MART is required to make reasonable modifications to policies, practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination and ensure that our programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Examples of reasonable modifications:
- Help rider with using the farebox
- Allow passengers with medical conditions to eat/drink
- Assist in extreme weather
What are not reasonable modifications:
- Specific vehicle request
- Exclusive rides
- Driver acting as PCA such as carrying packages
- Operating outside of service area/hours
- Request for a specific driver
